Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified and reliable part-time or full time cook to join our team at Osteria Povera. The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience in an Italian environment and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food according to menu specifications
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist with inventory management and kitchen maintenance
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Schedule:
- Flexible hours
- Evening and weekend shifts may be required
Compensation:
Job Type: Part-time
