Shop Associate – Full-Time

Source Machine is a growing CNC machining and manufacturing company looking for a reliable, hardworking Shop Associate to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to build a long-term career in manufacturing.
While previous shop experience is an asset, we are willing to train the right candidate. Forklift experience is also an asset but is not required.
Responsibilities
- General shop cleaning and organization
- Shipping and receiving materials
- Material handling throughout the shop
- Operating a forklift (training provided if required)
- Cleaning, deburring, and laser engraving finished components
- Performing zinc phosphate coating of finished parts
- Packaging and preparing orders for shipment
- Emptying scrap metal bins and waste containers
- Snow removal and general exterior maintenance
- Assisting production departments as required
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor
- Dependable with good attendance and punctuality
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift certification is an asset (training available)
- Previous manufacturing or industrial experience is an asset
