The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for someone with a couple of years of accounting experience who wants broad exposure and real responsibility in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment within a growing outdoor brand.
What You'll Do
- Accounts Payable and Receivable support, ensuring timely/accurate processing
- Assist with period end close, including preparing journal entries, maintaining supporting documents, reconciling GL accounts
- Assisting with preparation of financial statements
- Help identify and resolve discrepancies in financial processes and reporting
- Support accounting projects and analysis as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting process
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of accounting/finance experience
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA candidate preferred (enrolled or intending to enroll)
- Strong Excel skills
- Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a small team
- Netsuite or other ERP system experience is a plus
- Interest in the outdoor / ski / snowboard industry is a plus
