We are currently seeking a highly organized and personable individual to support the Director of Admissions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students of all ages and backgrounds, and committed to building positive, meaningful relationships with a diverse range of families.
The Admissions Associate plays a key role in welcoming prospective students and families to the Brookes community. This position provides essential administrative support throughout the admissions process, from initial inquiry through to enrollment, and works closely with the Director of Admissions to ensure a smooth and supportive experience.
Position Details
- Start Date: August 27,2026
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm with potential to increase hours dependent on the needs of the school (scheduled days could change periodically given events at the school such as orientation)
- During Winter and Spring break working hours are not scheduled as school is not in session
- Eligibility for participation in our employee and employer paid Extended Health and Benefit package after a 3-month waiting period
- Lunch meal provided on campus as a taxable meal benefit
Duties
- Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective students, families, and agents
- Schedule campus tours, interviews, and admissions meetings
- Guide prospective families through the admissions process with professionalism
- Maintain and update admissions databases and records
- Process applications and ensure accurate student records
- Prepare correspondence and support enrollment documentation
- Assist with admissions events, including orientations and agent visits
- Participate in weekly check-ins with the Director of Admissions
- Support additional duties as required such as front-desk coverage
The ideal candidate has the following:
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or admissions role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in additional languages considered an asset
- Experience in a fast-paced or school environment preferred
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision
- Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management systems
- Experience with MyEd, ManageBac, or OpenApply considered an asset
- Experience dealing with ESL learners considered an asset
