Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant and Toddler educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, fostering their development through play and structured activities.
Duties
- Provide attentive and compassionate caregiving to children in a safe environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom or play area.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a positive team atmosphere.
- Observe children's behavior and development, documenting milestones as necessary.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is highly desirable.
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to educate through play and structured activities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that encourages children's growth and learning.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
