Break Press Operator
Location: Woodbridge, ON
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr + $0.75 Shift Premium, Paid weekly
Shift: Night Shift – 10:00PM-6:00AM
Canadian Executive Search Group (CES) is currently seeking
Brake Press Operators to support operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment located in the Brampton area. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for steady work in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate Brake Press machines.
- Bend and form metal parts according to drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Identify and change Brake Press tooling as required.
- Complete first-off inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures, Verniers, and other inspection equipment.
- Complete required production paperwork and data entry.
- Work closely with Quality and Engineering teams.
- Report equipment issues, unsafe conditions, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous Brake Press or metal fabrication experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Comfortable using measuring tools such as tape measures and Verniers.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) from floor to table level.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
