Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team during the afternoon shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am). Responsibilities
- Perform thorough quality inspections of products and components using precision tools such as calipers and other measurement devices
- Collect and analyze data related to quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Conduct routine quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications
- Document inspection results accurately, maintaining detailed records for traceability and reporting purposes
- Assist in implementing quality management systems and support ongoing quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively
- Support calibration of measurement equipment and ensure tools are maintained in optimal condition
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing setting, with a focus on quality control and inspection
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of issues
- Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, standards, and best practices in manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and other inspection instruments
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with effective documentation skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles
- Ability to work efficiently during the afternoon shift while maintaining high standards of accuracy
