A growing multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic is seeking a RMT to join our team of healthcare providers.
We are looking for a motivated and compassionate RMT to provide high-quality care within a collaborative rehabilitation environment. The successful candidate will work with patients recovering from various injuries and conditions, including complex rehabilitation cases, while contributing to their overall recovery journey.
Position Summary
This role provides on-site parking, private clinic space and trained staff to handle all scheduling & billing.
We are looking for highly motivated RMT to join the our team in our mission to improve the health and recovery of our patients in their rehabilitation journey. The Massage Therapist will administer professional massage and body treatments to our patients.
They must have a thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, excellent communication skills, and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our patients.
They must be a registered massage therapist in good standing in the Ontario province. This position offers a competitive remuneration package and multiple avenues for both personal and professional growth.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in an out-patient setting accordance with clinic protocols and accepted certification practices
- Make clients feel welcome and comfortable and promote the benefits of massage therapy as specific to each client and recommend frequency
- Be on time for each massage appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service
- Maintain the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization
- Work to build a massage therapy client base, and assist in developing and implementing marketing ideas
- Completes required client notes, maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files after each visit
- Maintain a positive attitude, be flexible, and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Assists in activities including staff meetings, clean-up and housekeeping
Qualifications
- Must be a registered Massage Therapist in Ontario in good standing
- Should have a minimum of 1 year massage experience
- Team player and flexible
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
