Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed RED SEAL PLUMBER to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in plumbing, construction, and maintenance, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced skills in blueprint reading, welding, and the use of various hand and power tools. The successful applicant will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of plumbing systems across commercial and residential sites.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to execute precise work
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete installations and repairs
- Perform heavy lifting as required for material handling and equipment installation
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures and mechanical systems including HVAC components when applicable
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure project specifications are met efficiently
- Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues using technical knowledge of schematics and system layouts
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Qualifications
- Valid RED SEAL PLUMBING certification or equivalent license
- Proven experience in plumbing, construction, HVAC, or related maintenance fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in welding, carpentry, assembly, and schematics reading
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installation or repairs
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments

Pay: $37.00-$55.00 per hour
