Our growing team has an immediate opening for a Lead Structural Technologist. Our projects include residential, commercial and industrial projects.
- Certificate, diploma and 5+ years work experience in structural drafting using Autocad and Revit. Canadian Local Experience from British Columbia is a MUST
- Proficiency working with latest Autodesk softwares
- Must have 4+ years minimum experience in structural revit software.
- Practical hands on experience with wood, concrete and steel drafting.
- Experience with residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
- Experience in inspection of concrete, wood frame, steel, light gauge steel structures
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written
- Attention to detail and a desire to learn
- Ability to multi-task and skilled in time management
- Ability to read, interpret and prepare structural engineering plans and details
- Able to review drawings for accuracy in an efficient manner
- Understanding the use of external reference and drawing scale
- Ability to create and modify dynamic blocks
- Ability to coordinate the work with other disciplines
- Lead projects involving drafting of structural drawings
- Guide and supervise other junior drafters.
- Assist in site inspection, condition assessments, reporting, specifications and proposals.
- Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
