Hairstylist Position (Commission-Based)
- Compensation: commission on services
- Contract length: 6 months
- Must have an established clientele
- Flexible scheduling - set your own hours

Salon Assistant/Apprentice Position
- Compensation: $17.60/hour
- Hours: 18 hours/week, rotating days based on salon volume
- Great opportunity for someone building experience under experienced stylists
- Previous front desk or receptionist experience is advantageous but not required.
Duties
- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and styling services tailored to each client's preferences.
- Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Foster excellent communication with clients to ensure a positive experience and build lasting relationships.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training.
Experience
- Prior experience in hair styling, including cutting, coloring, and styling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols relevant to salon environments.
- Experience in retail sales or upselling services/products is a plus.
