About Lorenzo's Pizzeria
Lorenzo's Pizzeria is a husband-and-wife-owned neighborhood pizzeria focused on authentic New York-style pizza, quality ingredients, and old-school hospitality.
We're looking for an experienced and dependable team member to work alongside ownership in the day-to-day operations of the pizzeria. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a small team environment and takes pride in delivering consistently great food and customer service.
Because we're an independent family-run business, we're looking for someone reliable, adaptable, and capable of helping the restaurant run smoothly during busy service periods and day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
Pizza Making
- Hand-stretch and prepare New York-style pizza dough
- Build and bake pizzas according to quality standards
- Prepare ingredients, sauces, and toppings
- Monitor food quality and consistency throughout service
- Work efficiently during lunch and dinner rushes
Customer Service & Front Counter
- Greet customers and take orders
- Handle phone, and pick-up orders
- Process cash, debit, and credit card payments
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain a welcoming front-of-house environment
Daily Operations
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Restock ingredients and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the pizzeria

Qualifications
Required
- Previous experience making pizza in a restaurant or pizzeria
- Food Handler Certification
- Experience with New York-style pizza and dough handling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong reliability and punctuality
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Preferred
- Experience operating commercial gas pizza ovens
- Customer service or cashier experience
- Close Commute
