Our client is a rapidly growing company seeking an HSE Manager to lead and elevate its HSE programs. You’ll drive compliance, champion a strong safety culture, and reduce risk across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and improve HSE programs, policies, and safety systems
- Ensure compliance with regulations; lead audits and COR readiness
- Conduct hazard assessments and implement risk controls
- Oversee training, orientations, and safety initiatives
- Lead incident investigations, reporting, and WCB claims management
- Manage the company’s fleet of vehicles
- Monitoring site safety performance
- Mentor HSE staff and advise leadership on safety strategy
Qualifications and Experience:
- 4-5 years of experience in a senior safety role
- 1-2 years of supervision/leadership experience
- Construction/trades background with strong knowledge of safety regulations
- Experience with audits, COR, incident investigations, and WCB
- Post-secondary degree or diploma is an asset
- NHSA/NCSO Designation (ACSA) is an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate across departments
