We are seeking a personable, driven, and highly communicative Sales & Marketing Specialist to join our team. This dynamic role bridges the gap between creative brand awareness and proactive business development. You will be responsible for scaling our online presence while driving new client acquisition across the Durham Region and Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
What You Will Do
Marketing & Brand Awareness
- Social Media Management: Coordinate, design, and execute a cohesive social media strategy across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Content Creation: Maintain an organized content calendar and produce engaging multimedia posts that showcase our products and culture.
- Email Marketing: Develop and deploy impactful email campaigns to introduce new product lines, share company updates, and nurture existing leads.
- Events: Engage with other local businesses and community events to showcase our brand in the local area.
Sales & Account Management
- Prospect & Close: Actively source, pitch, and close new business accounts across the GTA & Durham Region to build and scale your custom book of business.
- Consultative Selling: Meet with local businesses in our Ajax showroom or on-site to understand their branding needs and deliver tailored apparel solutions.
- End-to-End Account Management: Act as a trusted brand consultant, managing client accounts and tracking orders seamlessly from the initial quote to final delivery.
What We Are Looking For
- The Sales Drive: A proven passion for sales, business development, and client satisfaction. You are motivated by hitting targets and going above and beyond.
- Relationship Builder: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You excel at building quick rapport over the phone, via email, and face-to-face.
- Marketing Savvy: Hands-on experience managing social media platforms and creating content either for business or personal accounts.
- Strong Organization: Superior time-management skills with the ability to balance outbound sales prospecting with creative marketing deadlines.
- Logistics: Must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License and regular access to a reliable, insured vehicle for local client visits.
Preferred Tools & Technology (Assets):
- Design & Marketing: Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and Mailchimp.
- Operations: Familiarity with Google Workspace, CRM systems, and Jira.
- AI Efficiency: Comfort utilizing generative AI tools (like ChatGPT or Gemini) to streamline workflows.
Compensation, Benefits & Perks
- Financial Upside: $50,000 base salary + uncapped commission structure.
