Job Title: Overnight Logistics Coordinator
Shift: Sunday to Thursday
Hours: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and organized Overnight Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating driver assignments, monitoring deliveries, communicating with customers, and ensuring smooth overnight transportation operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, quick decision-making skills, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign available drivers to customer accounts and coordinate daily delivery requirements.
- Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely and effective delivery of goods.
- Contact drivers as needed to confirm start times and readiness.
- Monitor driver activity and vehicle tracking through the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling, routing, and delivery issues.
- Keep customers updated and escalate operational concerns to the Dispatch Supervisor or Operations Manager.
- Manage last-minute requests and unexpected transportation changes while maintaining communication with all parties.
- Monitor incoming emails and enter pickup/delivery requests into the system.
- Review driver paperwork, timesheets, and proof of delivery (POD) documents.
- Coordinate with service vendors and process purchase orders when required.
- Provide drivers with required logs, run sheets, and safety/security equipment.
- Assist with trailer loading activities when required.
- Support logistics management during absences or operational needs.
- Manage company fuel card and rental tractor processes as required.
- Participate in rotating weekend on-call support.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be bilingual (English/French).
- Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, transportation, or fleet coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of trucking operations and driver coordination is an asset.
- Valid truck driver’s license is an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
