Finova Financial Group is inviting applications for a Student Marketing Ambassador role for students interested in marketing, business development, finance, entrepreneurship, and professional services.
This opportunity is designed for students who want hands-on exposure to how a financial services firm builds brand awareness, creates content, connects with local businesses, and develops professional relationships in the Calgary business community.
The role is flexible and learning-focused, with guidance from Finova’s leadership team.
Responsibilities
- Support content ideas for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Help research local Calgary businesses and industry trends
- Assist with drafting professional outreach messages
- Participate in brand awareness and networking initiatives
- Help identify local business events, student events, and community opportunities
- Track basic marketing activity and share weekly learning updates
- Bring creative ideas for improving Finova’s online presence
Ideal Candidate
- Current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, Entrepreneurship, or a related field
- Interested in finance, small business, entrepreneurship, or professional services
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, Instagram, Canva, and Google Sheets
- Professional, reliable, and eager to learn
- Prior marketing, sales, club, or social media experience is an asset but not required
