Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Education preferred
- Excellent command of the English Language in reading and writing
- 1+ years of successful teaching experience preferred
- Responsible and passionate about teaching
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude, highly responsible; able to motivate and inspire students
- Able to help students with diverse educational backgrounds and learning abilities
- Capable of juggling multiple tasks
Job Description
- Teach ESL at a high level of proficiency
- Assess and identify students’ individual learning needs
- Teach students using a variety of techniques: lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations
- Assign and correct homework, provide feedback to contribute to students’ progress
- Answer students’ questions
- Help students improve their results
- Maintain frequent and effective communication with students, parents, and administration
Hours of Operation
- M - Th: 4PM start
- F: 2PM start
- S: 10AM
- Summer: M - F: 10 AM start
Compensation
- Hourly; based on qualifications & experience
