JOB SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Marking Manager, this position will help grow the business by supplying our North American retail sales team with effective tools and newly developed products. The incumbent must have great project management and interpersonal skills, be comfortable working with outside suppliers to bring projects to life, be creative and have the ability to make a difference. The incumbent will learn on the job in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks with cross functional teams under tight deadlines is key in this lean and dynamic environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and manage the development, coordination and launch of new products including all administrative listing updates, product development, product positioning, packaging design & sourcing
- Works with a cross-functional team including Product Development, Sales, Finance, QA and Operations to successfully implement marketing initiatives
- Lead and develop all POS material for our internal sales team and external broker and distributor partners including sell sheets, product photography, launch presentations, product manuals, new packaging, etc.
- Effectively develop and maintain project workflows for numerous R&D and packaging projects to ensure deadlines are met on time and within budget
- Develop, implement and manage a cross functional system to properly maintain all product specifications and track updates to ensure regulatory compliance
- Works with external partners and suppliers including creative agencies, packaging and printing houses to source, develop, approve and launch products
- Develop an effective launch strategy for our ecommerce business and see project from development through to launch. Maintain business month to month while driving traffic and ROI.
- Provide administrative support as required to marketing team
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree or diploma majoring in Marketing / Business
- Up to 2 years’ experience in marketing or related field an asset
- Superior project management skills
- Experience in Packaging Development is considered an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve
- Strong interpersonal skills with clear communications (verbal and written)
- Excellent organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines and juggle numerous priority projects
- A self-starter with the ability to identify projects and solutions
- Knowledge of design process, web, and social media an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Proficient use of various office - based software
- Experience working with highly confidential information
- Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills
