The Fairfield Gonzales Community Association, a non-profit charity that has been serving the community for over
40years, is recruiting for an independent, curious and collaborative individual to join our fantastic School Age Childcare
Team. As Team Leader you will be responsible for the oversight of our school-aged children and providing them with
unstructured time to socially and physically explore before and after school!

Compensation and schedule:
➢ Recruitment wage: $23.80-$24.30/hour, PLUS 6% vacation paid out and 4% in lieu of benefits
➢ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:15-9:00am & 2:15pm-5:45pm and 7:45am-5:15pm during school closures (Pro-D
Days & Spring break)
➢ Start & End Date: September 8, 2026 - June 24, 2027 ~ possibility of full-time work in the Summer
Program Details:
➢ Our two out of school care programs are staffed by 20-25 leaders and serve over 200 families from Sir James
Douglas Elementary School & Margaret Jenkins Elementary School.
Requirements: Responsibilities:
➢ Must have completed a minimum of 20 ➢ Work in-ratio with a group of up to 24 children,
hours of childcare related coursework alongside another Team Leader
➢ Experience working in licensed childcare ➢ Drop-off and pick-up kids from their respective schools
setting, an asset (both out of school care locations are on school
➢ Experience with children aged 5-12 years grounds)
