Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive, truck and trailer services. You will have strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with customers, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate services. Your ability to provide exceptional service will contribute to a positive customer experience and foster long-term relationships.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assess customer needs by listening attentively and asking relevant questions.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs based on mechanical knowledge.
- Preparing quotations for vehicle repairs
- Ordering of parts for a wide range of vehicles
- Create accurate service orders and ensure all necessary information is documented.
- Coordinate with technicians to relay customer concerns and service requirements.
- Manage cash handling processes, including processing payments and providing receipts.
- Follow up with customers regarding their vehicle status and ensure timely communication throughout the service process.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
- Familiar with ordering parts.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
