We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead manufacturing operations through the next phase of growth. Reporting to the President, this role is responsible for manufacturing, maintenance, quality, production planning, safety, and continuous improvement.
The successful candidate will bring strong operational leadership, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams in complex manufacturing environments.
- Lead all manufacturing, maintenance, quality, scheduling, and operational functions.
- Develop and execute strategies that improve productivity, quality, delivery performance, and profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standardize processes across the operation.
- Build a culture of accountability, safety, teamwork, and operational excellence.
- Manage operational budgets and capital investments to support sustainable growth.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including senior operations leadership responsibility.
- Experience in machine shops, precision machining, metal fabrication, or similar manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated success improving operational performance, implementing systems, and scaling manufacturing capacity.
- Strong understanding of production scheduling, quality systems, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
Proven ability to lead and optimize complex manufacturing operations.
Balances operational discipline with strategic investments that support growth.
Establishes accountability, drives performance, and delivers measurable outcomes.
Uses KPIs and operational data to guide decisions and continuous improvement efforts.
Communicates openly and proactively, ensuring alignment across teams and leadership.
