Candidate profile (text) - Default language IKEA Canada is coming to London, Ontario, and we're looking for a Customer Meeting Point Team Leader to join the leadership team for our new small-format store.
Located at White Oaks Mall (1105 Wellington Road), this exciting new Customer Meeting Point represents a unique opportunity to bring the IKEA experience to a new community and make our home furnishing solutions more accessible than ever.
- You have previous leadership experience and enjoy coaching, supporting, and motivating co-workers to achieve team goals.
- You are passionate about sales and creating a great customer experience, with the ability to build positive relationships and turn customer needs into solutions.
- You lead by example and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, inspiring your team to deliver excellent service and achieve sales results.
- You have a good understanding of the IKEA multichannel shopping experience and how to create a seamless customer journey across all touchpoints.
- You are a strong communicator who collaborates effectively with others and builds positive relationships across teams.
- You have experience following, documenting, and improving processes to support operational efficiency and enhance the customer experience.
- You are organized, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to identify opportunities and solve problems as they arise.
- You have education in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Key responsibilities (text) As the Customer Meeting Point Team Lead, you will play a key role in launching and leading this innovative retail format, creating an inspiring customer experience, and building a high-performing team. Together, we will help more people create a better everyday life at home through affordable, sustainable, and well-designed home furnishing solutions.
- Acknowledge local market specifics and lead the work of meeting customers' needs within our omni eco system to enable a smooth shopping experience and by providing inspiring home furnishing solutions and services.
- Lead team to promote and sell prioritized range and services connected to the commercial calendar through great customer meetings, sales steering, availability and influencing range presentation solutions.
- Secure effective, qualitative, and efficient daily operations within the assigned area of responsibility by contributing to customer satisfaction, goals and business standards achievement and if applicable, doing manager on duty service for the unit.
- Ensure compliance and safe work environment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace by ensuring adherence to IKEA’s Code of Conduct, internal policies, and local legislation related to health, safety, business, and environmental standards.
- Take direct lead with identifying, recruiting, retaining, and developing the many talents in the assigned scope of responsibility to secure a diverse, high performing team that can execute its assigned responsibilities with confidence and secure the future succession.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 70800 CAD to 97350 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
