THE POSITION
Our Support Staff team plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. Whether welcoming guests at the door, assisting with service, or maintaining a clean and organized dining environment, these roles are essential to the success of our restaurant.
We’re looking for energetic, team-oriented individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to outstanding customer service.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create a positive first impression by warmly welcoming and assisting all guests
- Support efficient seating and table flow to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Assist with managing waitlists and communicating accurate wait times to guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready restaurant environment at all times
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly to maximize seating availability
- Assist with delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Support service staff by refilling water and coffee, and attending to guest needs as required
- Ensure service stations are fully stocked with napkins, glassware, cutlery, and other essentials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of host stands, service areas, and dining spaces
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including set-up and tear-down
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service
- Handle guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner (in person or by phone)
- Support team members across roles as needed
- Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices;
- All other duties as required.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal candidate will have the following background:
- Previous food and beverage experience is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to support multiple areas of the operation
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods (including Stampede)
- MUST have open availability during 10 days of Stampede
Shifts are event driven and consist of mainly evenings and weekends. Flexible availability is required.
This position will remain open until suitable candidates are found.
