We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Coordinator for a Canada Summer Jobs position. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn.
- Create compelling visual content using Canva to support marketing campaigns.
- Manage social media scheduling and posting ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve visibility in search engine results.
- Monitor analytics using Google Analytics to assess campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Design engaging graphics and multimedia content tailored for digital marketing campaigns.
- Manage Facebook Advertising campaigns to target specific audiences effectively.
- Proofread all content before publishing to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
- Collaborate with team members on content calendars, campaign ideas, and promotional activities.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance overall digital presence.
Experience
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online advertising strategies is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Canva is helpful
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and digital marketing techniques.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in content creation.
- Ability to analyze data insights to inform strategic decisions.

- Must qualify for the Canada Summer Jobs Grant
- Be between 15 and 30 years old (inclusive) at the start of employment.
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a person who has been granted refugee protection in Canada.
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada according to provincial and federal laws
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
