We are a small Montessori school that is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and positive Montessori educator to join our program. Individuals must be willing to learn and contribute positively to our Montessori environment. The position is Full-Time, beginning as early as August, but a definitive September start date.
We are looking for an individual to support our CASA (pre-school) program. The candidate is expected to work directly with the children and therefore will be on their feet the majority of the day.
Compensation to be discussed during an interview.
The requirements for the job are:
- Montessori and/or early childhood qualifications
- Childcare experience (working directly with children)
- CPR and First Aid Level C certified
- Clear vulnerable sector check (level 3)
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Willingness to contribute to multiple duties (e.g., activity prep, food prep, daily reporting, child supervision)
Asset requirements for the job are:
- Bilingual (French & English)
- Registered ECE designation with the Ontario College of ECEs
