A premium farming facility located in the Shelburne area (30 minutes north of Orangeville on Hwy 10) is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Senior Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Facility Manager.
Job Duties:
1.Driving, maintenance and repair of tractors & UTV’s
2.Irrigation-setup & maintenance in the field
3. Maintaining pump house operations
4. Perform routine maintenance and repair work on machinery
5. Installing machinery and equipment
6. Complete routine and preventative maintenance and respond to calls on a variety of equipment ranging from heating, ventilation and plumbing, carpentry, and troubleshooting several assets,
6. Work outside and inside the production facility,
8. Building & facility maintenance
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Able to manage priorities and solve problems,
- Self-motivated and reliable,
- Strong troubleshooting skills,
- Demonstrates a strong technical sense and understanding of equipment operations and maintenance,
- Work outside and inside the production facility,
- Understanding preventative maintenance & repair on a variety of equipment ranging from electrical, heating, ventilation and plumbing aspects of the equipment.
- Available to work rotation Saturday or Sunday as required
