Scenework is currently accepting applications for installers/wiremen.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Pre installation preparation including site visitations, materials pull off, ensuring required materials are available and accounted for, organization of non company rentals
- On-site installation and site conditions maintenance
- Post installation including site clean up, return of non company rentals, associated paper work
- Maintenance of facility shop area
- In-house manufacturing of wiring troughs, product assembly and materials control
Must possess the following:
- Valid Ontario driver's license
- Working at Heights certification
- Able to work with hand and bench tools - chop saws, punches and presses
- Able to read and work from specification drawings and electrical schematics
- Knowledge of basic electrical theory and wiring
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Computer knowledge - Word and Excel required. Good working knowledge of CAD drawing programs an asset
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a minimum of supervision
- Excellent communications skills
