Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a team toward achieving business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a background in retail management. This role requires strategic planning, team supervision, and excellent customer service to ensure smooth store functions and growth. Bilingual abilities and experience in marketing or merchandising are considered advantageous. The Operations Manager will be instrumental in maintaining operational excellence, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies
- Manage staff recruitment, training & development, performance evaluations, and scheduling
- Oversee sales management activities including pricing strategies, merchandising, and promotional campaigns
- Handle budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting to maintain profitability
- Coordinate purchasing, inventory control, and POS system management to optimize stock levels
- Develop marketing initiatives to increase store visibility and customer engagement
- Ensure exceptional customer service through effective communication skills and phone etiquette
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members
- Monitor sales performance metrics and implement strategies for sales growth
- Maintain organizational standards for cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
- Manage cash handling procedures and oversee cashiering operations
- Foster a team-oriented environment that promotes leadership, motivation, and professional development
Experience
- Proven retail management experience with a strong background in store operations and sales management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
- Skills in negotiation, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives
- Proficiency with POS systems, bookkeeping software, and administrative tools
- Experience in recruiting, training & development programs, budgeting, and financial oversight
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage customer relations effectively
- Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in retail sales or store management roles is highly desirable
Pay: $51,197.83-$125,189.11 per year
