Our client is a well-established engineering and environmental consulting firm recognized for delivering innovative solutions across transportation, infrastructure, industrial, manufacturing, mining, energy, and land development projects throughout Canada.
They are seeking an experienced Environmental Noise & Vibration Engineer/Scientist to join their growing Guelph, Ontario team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys solving complex environmental challenges while working on diverse and technically rewarding projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Participating in peer and design reviews, land use planning, EASR/ECA submissions, and hearing preparation.
2. Maintaining a client-focused approach, using your technical expertise to support the success of client projects.
3. Working closely with junior staff to advance their knowledge and abilities.
4. Support field measurement programs and data analysis as required.
5. Applying best practices and in-depth knowledge of the Ontario regulatory environment to support clients.
6. Contributing to environmental assessments and related documentation.
Qualifications
1. Undergraduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline, with eligibility for P.Eng registration with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) is preferred.
2. Candidates without P.Eng eligibility but with significant, relevant experience will also be considered.
3. Minimum 6 years of experience in environmental noise and vibration consulting.
4. Strong understanding of Ontario environmental permitting and land use planning processes.
5. Valid Ontario driver's license.
6. A background and interest in coding, particularly in Python
7. An interest in electronics and instrumentation
