We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Machinery Mover / Rigger to join our team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will assist with the moving, installation, relocation, and removal of industrial machinery and equipment at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Move, position, and install industrial machinery and equipment.
- Perform rigging using slings, chains, hoists, dollies, rollers, and other lifting equipment.
- Assist with loading and unloading heavy machinery.
- Work safely with forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment.
- Follow all company and customer safety procedures.
- Read work instructions and assist with equipment assembly and disassembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team and complete projects on schedule.
Requirements
- Previous experience in machinery moving, rigging, construction, or industrial installation is an asset.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work overtime and travel to job sites when required.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging certifications are considered an asset.
Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
