OVERVIEW

Their development is 100% in-house, including firmware, hardware, and software, giving full control over every component ensuring reliability in the most demanding environments.
Their delivery for critical, high-precision data for operations enables safer, more efficient, and better informed geological, structural, and operational decision making, ensuring compliance with QHSE standards at every stage.
The Field Engineer will deliver technical support services to clients using products, services, and solutions within the local region for borehole trajectory measurement technology. It will involve technical support to clients in the field, ensuring proper tool performance, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency in service delivery, and continuous improvement efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operate and maintain tools and equipment at customer locations as needed
· Execute established client contact plans to support sales teams with product launches and strengthen client relationships through customer support and service
· Act as first point of contact for complex client issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
· Resolve client inquiries and concerns, escalating complex matters to ensure appropriate response times
· Conduct tool training for colleagues and customers and contribute to technical documentation and records
· Follow daily plans for tool repair and preventative maintenance and ensure calibration and quality control documentation is maintained
· Prepare service reports and project documentation for clients and internal use
· Maintain inventory of supplies, consumables, and spare parts
· Ensure compliance with local and company safety procedures including JSA, permits to work, hazard assessments, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
· 2 years of experience in related role (mining industry preferred)
· Strong understanding of industry processes and experience in drilling and mining
· Background in Geology, Mining Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering or equivalent
· Solid knowledge of drilling optimization, rock characterization, and data analytics
· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Basic mining and drilling principles
· Knowledge of downhole survey tools and principals, structural geology/mining tech and a strong asset
· Interpretation of technical and engineering drawings
