Responsibilities
- Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools, adhering to health regulations
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and upsell retail products to enhance their experience
- Educate clients on nail health, proper maintenance, and aftercare tips to ensure long-lasting results
- Assist in retail sales by promoting nail care products and accessories that meet client needs
- Ensure a welcoming atmosphere by delivering friendly, attentive customer service throughout each appointment
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing training and professional development
Experience
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role in a professional salon or spa environment
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, sanitation practices, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and understand their preferences
- Demonstrated ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a customer-first approach
- Experience performing body waxing is a plus but not required; willingness to learn preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
- Passion for beauty trends, creativity in nail design, and dedication to providing outstanding customer service
