We are seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate with 1-2 years of applicable warehouse (shipping and receiving) experience to join our current team.
What does this role involve?
- Pick orders to process
- Pack and ship orders via Courier and LTL
- Receive products; count and check for quantity and quality
- Complete stock transfers to other warehouses (incoming and outgoing)
- Assemble products
- Package products
- Complete inventory logs
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
- Assist in inventory counts
- Operate light duty warehouse equipment (no heavy machinery)
- Operate forklift (training to be provided)
What you need:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable and organized
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Basic computer skills
- Valid driver's license
- Work well under pressure
- Able to work efficiently with and without supervision
- Good communications skills
Qualifications/Experience:
- 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse environment
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 60 pounds)
- Experience in the electrical tool industry (or similar industries) is an asset
- Experience in a related clerical occupation is an asset
Working Conditions:
Required to lift up to 60 pounds, walk, or stand for most of the shift.
