The typical salary range for this position is $69 840.00 - $96 030.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.

SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for financial analysis for the Food Basics and Pharmacy divisions, with significant involvement in the annual budgeting process. This includes preparation, review and analysis of period end statements, reports and presentations intended for senior management.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation and review of period end and weekly reports for the Pharmacy business.
- Preparation of various journal entries into SAP for assigned segments of the organization.
- Design of new reports as required.
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting.
- Involvement in annual by store budgeting for assigned accounts.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards, and commitments consistent with international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Preparation of information for external auditors for quarter-end / year-end reviews.
- Communicate regularly with multiple areas of the business to ensure that the financials are timely and accurate.
- Develop and maintain effective business partner relationships with Pharmacy Team, Food Basics Stores Managers, and other areas of business. Ensure that Financial Information is understood and provided in a timely and accurate manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- College diploma or University studies in business/finance/accounting
- 3 – 5 years related work experience
- Enrolled in a senior level of the CPA program
- Advanced computer skill: PC-based applications, including TM1 database, MS Office (especially excel), and SAP.
