About the role
A warm, busy West Vancouver family is looking for an experienced House Manager and Nanny to become a key part of their household. They have one son (7), who is active in hockey, plus a small family dog. The family splits their time between West Vancouver and regular stays in Pemberton and Summerland, with some wider travel through the year, so this is a wonderful role for someone who loves variety and is happy to travel alongside them.
The details
- Start: mid-July
- Schedule: full days Monday to Friday, 40 to 50 hours per week, with a firm 7:30am start (with the option to shorten Thursdays and Fridays once a rhythm is set)
- Location: West Vancouver
- Wage: $35/hour
- A clean driver's license and reliable own car are required (a family-provided vehicle for the role may be an option down the line)
What the role involves
- Caring for their son and managing his daily schedule, including hockey and activities
- Running the household: laundry and linens, tidying and organisation, groceries and errands
- Meal planning and cooking for the family, with strong, confident home cooking a true essential (hearty, meat-forward meals included)
- Driving to appointments, activities, and school runs (the family covers some of the pickups)
- Day-to-day care of the family dog
- Travelling with the family to Pemberton, Summerland, and further afield through the year
