Job Type: Part-Time (with potential to lead to a Full-Time position) based on performance and operational requirements.)
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY
The Server is responsible for providing efficient and courteous service to our guests. The Server will provide genuine hospitality by delivering prompt, professional food and beverage service while ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with hotel standards, food and beverage policies, and responsible liquor service requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous serving experience in a restaurant, hotel, lounge, or hospitality environment is an asset.
- Bartending experience is an asset.
- Valid ProServe Certification or ability to obtain prior to serving alcohol (Required).
- Authorization to legally work in Canada (Required).
- Minimum secondary school (high school) diploma or equivalent preferred.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests and provide prompt, attentive service.
- Explain menu items, daily features, beverages, and wine selections.
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards.
- Identify and communicate allergies and special dietary requests to kitchen staff.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve service concerns professionally.
- Process payments accurately and complete cash handling procedures.
- Set up, clear, clean, and reset tables.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas.
- Answer phones and assist with reservation inquiries.
- Provide information regarding hotel amenities and local area attractions.
- Comply with all food safety, sanitation, occupational health and safety, and liquor service requirements.
- Support restaurant, lounge, banquet, or other Food & Beverage operations as required.
SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, stand, and walk for extended periods.
