Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Supervisor to lead our Cafe/bagel Shop team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage staff, and drive sales performance through effective team management and strategic merchandising. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store activities, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Manage staffing schedules, recruiting new talent, and conducting interviews to build a strong team.
- Oversee sales initiatives, monitor sales goals, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cash handling duties accurately, and reconcile registers at shift end.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through purchasing, pricing adjustments, and merchandising standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or team management experience in a retail environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving a broad customer base.
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail sales processes.
- Experience in merchandising, purchasing, budgeting, and sales management.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution.
