Banquet Server / Event Server & Event Setup Crew
ARRAS Events is one of Vancouver's premier private event venues, hosting elegant weddings, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, and private celebrations in a beautiful venue overlooking False Creek.
As our event calendar continues to grow, we are looking for dependable, energetic individuals to join our team as Banquet Servers / Event Servers and Event Setup Crew.
Compensation
Starting at $18.25/hour + generous gratuities.
Responsibilities: Banquet Servers / Event Servers
- Deliver professional food and beverage service during weddings, corporate events, and private functions.
- Serve plated meals, buffets, passed hors d'oeuvres, and beverages.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a polished and professional appearance.
- Assist with event setup, room transitions, and post-event cleanup.
- Work alongside our kitchen and event management teams to ensure every event runs smoothly.
Event Setup Crew
- Set up tables, chairs, linens, stages, dance floors, and event décor.
- Reset event spaces between functions.
- Assist with room flips and furniture movement.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe venue.
- Work with the operations team to prepare the venue for each event.
Qualifications
- Previous banquet, restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Serving It Right certification is preferred for serving positions (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Friendly attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Takes pride in providing exceptional guest experiences.
