We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who leads by example, communicates calmly under pressure, and thrives in high-volume service.
This role is primarily focused on brunch operations, while also supporting evening service and events as needed. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, making thoughtful decisions in real time, and helping lead a busy restaurant with confidence and professionalism.
This is a fixed-term position running through October 2026, with the potential for future opportunities as the business continues to grow.
How You`ll Contribute
● Lead, coach, and support front-of-house team members including servers, hosts, baristas, bartenders, support staff, and team leads
● Help recruit, hire, onboard, and train new staff
● Foster a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture
● Provide clear, honest, and constructive feedback
● Lead by example during busy services
● Oversee daily restaurant operations, primarily during brunch service
● Help manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow to create a smooth experience for both guests and staff
● Ensure the team is organized, supported, and set up for success during service
● Step into service roles as needed, including hosting, serving, bussing, bartending, or supporting the floor
● Help maintain labor efficiency and operational systems
● Support opening, closing, and daily operational procedures
● Ensure guests feel welcomed, informed, and cared for throughout their experience
● Handle guest concerns professionally and calmly
● Help create an atmosphere where even busy services feel organized, attentive, and enjoyable
● Support communication and wayfinding throughout the venue, as navigating Fergie’s can sometimes be unique for first-time guests

● Have experience leading teams in fast-paced hospitality environments

Qualifications
● Minimum 1 year of management experience in a high-volume restaurant environment
● Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
● Experience with restaurant POS systems and basic administrative tools
● Comfortable with physically demanding work, including stairs and lifting up to 50 lbs
● Valid Serving It Right certification required
