We are seeking professionals with experience in commercial copper cabling, CCTV, alarm systems, access control, and business telecommunications installations.

Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and fibre optic cabling.
- Install and troubleshoot commercial Internet, voice, and data services.
- Install and program CCTV surveillance systems.
- Install and configure intrusion alarm systems.
- Install and troubleshoot access control systems.
- Rack, mount, and label network equipment.
- Test and certify structured cabling installations.
- Diagnose and repair network connectivity issues.
- Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
- Deliver professional customer service at commercial client locations.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of commercial telecommunications or low-voltage experience.
- Experience with structured copper cabling (Cat5e/Cat6).
- Experience installing CCTV systems.
- Experience installing intrusion alarm systems.
- Experience with access control systems is considered a strong asset.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting commercial networks.
- Valid Class 5 driver's licence.
- Reliable work van or truck.
- Professional installation tools and testing equipment.
- Smartphone with data plan.
- Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
Contractor Requirements
Applicants must have or be willing to obtain:
- GST/HST Registration Number
- Business Liability Insurance
- WorkSafeBC Coverage (if applicable)
- Reliable work vehicle
- Professional telecommunications and low-voltage installation tools
Ideal Experience
