What you will own
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine your technical expertise, people leadership, and strategic thinking capabilities. As Manager, Lending & Credit, you will:
- Lead and develop the lending team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance leadership.
- Own the full lending portfolio, residential, consumer, and commercial.
- Make lending decisions through underwriting, approvals, and risk management.
- Drive business development through building relationships with members and the community and supporting employees on their business development skills.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategy, pricing, and growth initiatives.
- Present insights and reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors supporting informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Shape the future of lending at OCCU including policies, products, and process improvements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to members, identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships through the full range of OCCU products and services.
- Ensure the overall health and performance of the lending portfolio, including monitoring delinquencies, trends, and risk exposure.
- Lead compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, working closely with audit functions and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of lending policies, products, and practices to balance growth, risk, and member needs.

- Experience in lending (consumer, residential and/or commercial)

Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
