We are currently seeking an ambitious, multi-faceted, well-rounded, organized individual for the position of Dispatcher at our Edmonton location.
Requirements:
- Experience Dispatching a Rig Move or being apart of a Rig Move is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of Oilfield Dispatch experience in the trucking industry is required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to identify problems and troubleshoot problems in a fast paced environment
- Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Strong sense of self-motivation to do a good job
- Familiarity with Axon would be an asset
- Legally able to work in Canada
- This is a fast-paced position, which could have overtime and weekend work as required. A person in this position can expect to answer upwards of 50 calls a day.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Schedule and Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications or needs
- Oversee and assist office staff and drivers.
- Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to and from drivers and supervisors
- Maintain Customer Relationships
- Prepare daily work orders
- Organize bill of ladings and prepare for invoicing
- Time sheet approval.
