Position Title: Warehouse Team Lead
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Work Schedule: Regular, Full-Time, Days, Occasional Overtime and Weekends

Job Summary: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Team Lead will function as a skilled and knowledgeable resource for all warehouse personnel, ALLSEATING departments, and management. Additionally, the Warehouse Team Lead will fulfill all responsibilities of a forklift/reach operator while motivating and encouraging team members.
Job Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for the following:
Acting as a knowledgeable resource for internal ALLSEATING customers with respect to Warehouse related issues and concerns;
Collaborating with the Warehouse Supervisor to determine daily needs of warehouse operators;
Supporting the Warehouse Department to ensure the daily schedules and targets are met;
Fulfilling leadership functions in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor (i.e.: labour assignments);
Actively participating in the training and onboarding of new employees;
Providing suggestions to the Warehouse Supervisor regarding warehouse effectiveness (i.e.: improvements to RF scanning, inventory accuracy, etc.)
Ensuring the completion of daily machinery and equipment inspections and circle checks;
Unloading and loading delivery trucks and containers;
Lead team in warehouse picking/put away processes
Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory product; work with the warehouse supervisor to determine daily needs of the warehouse operation;
Assisting in keeping the warehouse aisles clear;
Conducting daily cycle and inventory counts;
Relocating incoming skids to ensure the receiving dock is cleared for new delivery;
Tracking product through RF scanners to achieve 100% accuracy:
Cooperating with all departments to provide materials as required for current day production
Safe handling and operation of the reach truck, counter-balance, Sky Jack and order picker;
Maintaining a clean work environment;
Adhering to all company and government legislated policies and procedures; and
Other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and demonstrate a sense of urgency on the job;
- Must have the ability to learn and use computer and RF scanning technologies;
- Must be capable of performing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment;
- Must be able to stand for extended periods;
- Must be able to work with others;
- Must be able to work efficiently and effectively;
- Maintain a positive can/do attitude
- Must work in an organized manner; and
- Must possess a strong attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma;
- Valid Forklift Certification with a minimum of 2-4years experience;
- English language proficiency (read/write/speak);
- Demonstrated history of safe work habits; and
- Previous experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment is an asset

This job is an existing vacancy at an annual salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per annum. The actual base salary for this position depends on a variety of factors such as but not limited to skills, qualifications, education and overall experience.
