Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, efficiency, and a passion for hospitality. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling cash transactions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS and process payments with cash handling skills
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed during food handling and service
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest satisfaction
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items and specials
- Follow all restaurant policies related to serving alcohol, food safety, and guest interactions
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and calculating bills accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced setting
- Hospitality background or experience in the food industry is highly desirable

Pay: $17.60-$17.69 per hour
