Contrans Tank Group is looking for a Dispatcher to join our team on a day shift. We’re seeking a quick, bright, and eager individual who wants to grow within our organization—where the sky is the limit for your career. This is an in-office position, and you are required to be in the office every day.
What You’ll Do
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and equipment according to customer needs
- Ensure drivers and owner operators are fully utilized and monitor progress
- Enter and manage orders in our TMS with accurate information
- Work with customer service to address questions and ensure satisfaction
- Prepare daily dispatch schedules and communicate with drivers
- Ensure compliance with Canada/U.S. transportation regulations
- Maintain effective communication with drivers, coworkers, and customers
- Handle after-hours calls as needed
- Perform other duties as required

Education/Experience
- Post-secondary education in business or logistics
- Dispatching experience is an asset
- Understanding of U.S. and Canadian transportation regulations
