Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-maintained.
- Utilize technology effectively to assist customers with product inquiries and demonstrations.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within store hours.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone.
Experience
- 5+ years experience in the retail business in Canada- suitable for retired persons who still want to get out of the house for a few hours of work per week
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously..
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with customers.
- Ability to chat properly with customers over a wide range of subjects is essential for the position
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
