Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Golf-Player Assistant to enhance the guest experience at our golf course. The ideal candidate will assist players, provide excellent customer service, and ensure smooth operations on the course. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, engaging with guests of all ages while promoting a welcoming atmosphere. Prior experience in hospitality or guest services is a plus, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Greet and assist golfers upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression
- Provide guidance on course rules and etiquette to players of all skill levels
- Manage tee time reservations and coordinate pace of play to maintain smooth flow
- Engage with guests through friendly conversation, fostering a welcoming environment
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clubhouse and surrounding areas
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service, sales or dealing with people preferred
- Strong public speaking skills to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Proven customer service experience in hospitality, sales or food service, or related fields
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening and clear communication
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer-facing roles will be beneficial but is not mandatory; training will be provided for specific course procedures and standards
Pay: $18.00 per hour
