Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $24.48 to $27.20
What you bring to the team:

Previous experience in general maintenance, building operations, hospitality maintenance, or a related field is considered an asset.

Strong knowledge of basic building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.

Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform minor repairs in a safe and efficient manner.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance needs.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and presentation.

Physically capable of performing maintenance duties, including lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
In this role, you will:

Complete minor work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, painting, repairs to pipelines, toilets, sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment, etc. Perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned.

Ensure that the assigned equipment is prepared and operational for the following day’s work.

Monitor efficiency of equipment and electrical systems such as air conditioning controls, guests entrance/access doors, television sets, lighting systems and makes minor repairs and/or replacements to ensure proper operation and maximum efficiency.

Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows and counters. Paint and finish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms, if needed.

Maintain front entrance area, parking lot and/or garage, and street entrance in a clean and presentable manner.

Assists in checking and makes minor repairs on general plumbing systems and fixtures such as pipelines, toilets and sinks, kitchen and laundry equipment.

Maintain the safety and cleanliness of the exterior of the facility, grounds, pool and exercise/sport facilities (including property signs and lighting)
