We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy, patient-focused practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing exceptional preventive and periodontal care while educating patients on achieving optimal oral health.
Experience with ClearDent and Tracker is considered an asset.
This position requires the ability to travel between our three clinic locations as needed. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to all three offices.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene assessments, scaling, root planing, polishing, and preventive treatments.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment recommendations.
- Take and expose dental radiographs as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records using ClearDent, Tracker, or similar dental software.
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout appointments.
- Maintain Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) standards and operatory cleanliness.
- Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and the administrative team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Build positive relationships with patients and contribute to an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current registration with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
- Current CPR certification.
- Professional Liability Insurance.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to commute between all three clinic locations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience with ClearDent and/or Tracker is an asset.
- Bilingual candidates are considered an asset.
