Associate Dentist – Saturdays & Emergency On-Call
Position Title: Associate Dentist (Part-Time – Saturdays & Emergency On-Call)
Location: Town Centre Dental Clinic
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice on Saturdays and provide on-call emergency coverage as needed. The ideal candidate will be confident in general dentistry procedures, emergency management, and delivering excellent patient care in a professional and compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general dental treatment to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage dental emergencies including pain, infections, trauma, and extractions
- Perform restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, and root canal therapy where applicable
- Conduct oral examinations, treatment planning, and patient education
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes
- Work collaboratively with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and sterilization protocols
- Be available for emergency/on-call appointments based on clinic requirements
Schedule
- Saturdays
- Additional on-call emergency coverage as required based on patient needs and clinic schedule
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario
- Valid professional liability insurance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage emergency and urgent care cases independently
- Experience with general dentistry procedures preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
